SBC Annual Event
Full day event on 8/2/17 at UHCL Bayou Theater
Program flow will be registration, panels in the morning, lunch, NASA/SBA related topics in the afternoon, then network mixer.
Event will include exhibitor tables, matchmaking sessions, and JSC Archive Tour in UHCL library during the lunch break.
Panels include JSC SBTC panel, small business panel, and large business panel.
NASA/SBA related topics include JSC Industry Assistance update, JSC Strategic Acquisition Forecast Evaluation (SAFE) Update, Joint Ventures and How to Navigate the Mouse-Maze, and SBA Programs and Updates.
Ric’s Clean Slate
JSC is in the process of gathering data on the impact of events on small businesses. Do they actually increase small business opportunities/sales? Need metrics on successes coming out of events (first time business, repeat business, etc).
Feedback from the Light Manufacturing Event attendees was very positive.
